Thank You

I may not have been elected to the State House of Representatives, but we did not lose. Through your hard work and support, we were able to achieve one of the highest vote percentages for the Republican party in 58B!

More of What We Need

Elected community Leaders and key community organizers celebrated in the Harrison neighborhood, in the Heart of the City event Friday night. These are prime examples of the commitment residents of 58B have to improving our neighborhoods. We need to replicate the efforts on Friday, to our surrounding neighborhoods. These efforts will pay off. By showing outsiders, the streets of 58B belong to our community, and we will do whatever it takes to take them back.

We're Almost There

Election Day, or E Day is approaching fast. With only 34 days left until the general election, we have to make the most of everyday. So far, there has been a tremendous success with our door-knocking campaign. Utilizing the approach of one neighborhood, one street, one neighbor at a time is showing residents of 58B the care and knowledge I have of the district and our neighbors.

We Have Some Work To Do!

There have been many success in the Northside, but we continue to face the same problems. Today, I was door-knocking in our neighborhoods, and there were many things that I am not pleased with. As I was door-knocking, I noticed many illegal activities taking place. Namely, selling drugs in our neighborhoods. I do not appreciate this activity in our neighborhoods, during the middle of the day, in front of children, and 2 inches away from myself.

Another Safe Return

I want to first start off by thanking everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes, it is great to be able to see another year!

While I'm Away

I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks attending to some business. While I am away, please contact my campaign manager Michael Phoenix. He will be able to assist you with any concerns you may have. I am not sure of the frequency I will be able to check my email and voicemail. However, I will check my messages and return them as soon as possible. I look forward to seeing every one of you when I get back to Minneapolis. Thank you for your patience!

Filing Day

It is official. I am very proud to report that as of today, July 1st 2008, I am officially running for the MN House of Representatives Seat!

Why I Choose to Run

Many people have asked me why I am deciding to run in 58B; if I am nervous because the DFL has been in control of this area for such a long time, and am I going to back out now because the DFL has a strong candidate running for the house seat. I will not back down from any candidate, nor out of this race!

Your Help Has Been Instrumental

The two meet and greet session held over the past couple of weeks have given me a chance to connect with some great people in our community. Thank you Jerry for passing along crucial information to me about the school closings. I also want to especially thank Ryan Fanberg and his wife Nicole for hosting one of the events at their home. Ryan is very eager to reclaim so many of the areas our party has lost over the years.

I Made It Back

I made it back from a good trip to Paris. There is always a lot to see and do than the amount of time you have to do it. I am definitely back in the swing of things here. Tuesday volunteers and I were able to make some follow up phone calls to voters to understand what concerns they have in our district. We received a great reception from members in our district expressing what needs to change. I want to personally thank all of the volunteers who took time out of their schedules to help on Tuesday. It is greatly appreciated.
